A New Beginning....

Charity looked up as Wyatt spoke tp the dark male. Ultimately what he asked was most certainly in question in her own mind. What Obsidian had said of the Immortals who were great leaders and controlled the elements they represented, Charity knew. Fore it was some of the stories that she was told as a pup. Though she knew not of which element she was descended from, that story had been lost from her family. It was a bit of a realisation for her to know she was descended from Apollo and of air for her mercy. Her body became ridged as another wolf appeared. A black female with white ears. She seemed rather nervous but one could never be sure. "Is there anything you desire?" she questioned none to softly, bringing Nakia closer to her body.

Nakia was so excited by what Obsidian said. Her mother would be the leader of a pack! That would make her a leader's daughter. In her own mind that made her a leader too, of anyone that came around. 'O boy we'll have somewhere to stay! Lands to roam that will be ours! Intruders will have to deal with a pack and mother and I will not have to avoid places. I might even get to play with other pups if they come around!' Her tiny tail wagging like crazy. "Mister Obsidian, Mister Obsidian," she barked excitedly, "Can-" she cut off as her mother became ridged and another wolf walked in, making her forget what she was going to say. Wiggling free of her mothers grip she trotted up to the black female. "Hi there. What's your name? You're not special but I'm sure you can join our pack!" she barked happily.

Nakia doesn't mean anything by it Faith when she says 'you're not special' special is just how she describes the Immortals.

Obsidian smiled seeing the excitement through young Nakia. His ears twitched to the frequency of one passing through the tall grass and his eyes soon spotted a black wolf with strangly white ears. He studied it briefly and saw that it was a female indeed. Who'd knew on this day that so many wolves would be arriving. The dark male glanced to the other Immortals and watched the female for a response to Charity's question. Shifting his eyes to Nakia he caught her response to the female referring to her as 'not special'. The onyx male continued to sit on his rock knowing that Charity would handle the situation perfectly, afterall she was descended from Apollo.

With a sigh he laid down draping his paws over the edge of the rock, giving a wide yawn, possessing his pearly white fangs. Obsidian began to think of when he should show them the den and territory. He thought for now best to stay out here and let them think that this was it. The ancient male liked mind games afterall.

Faith almost shocked that already they noticed her. she blinked twice, before looking down. A pup, she always had adored pups they were still learning but she knew this pup was strong. She let out a small frown but it came into a small. "Yea......I know im not special but I hope that, that doesn't change me joining" she asked the pup. Her small torso shook, to release clung dew upon her pelt.

Wyatt listened to the black male as he told his piece. Flicking his ears slightly he scowled to himself, 'this is part of the story they had left out!' Turning away he walked a short distance to give himself room, room to think and mull over what he had just been told, 'do I really want to lead a pack..? But really, earth? Why do I get stuck with a rather shoddy element, while everyone else gets things like air and fire? Highly unfair if I do say so myself.'

He was snapped from his thoughts when a new voice drifted into the open. Wyatt slowly turned his head to see, spotting a black female with white ears, conversing with the pup. His pale golden-yellow eyes examined the wolf with subtle intensity, while his brown ears faced her direction. As he studied her, he did notice that she perhaps wasn't like the others here, something he had ultimately longed for since he arrived. Never considering himself 'abnormal' or immortal, it felt good to be around somebody who was 'normal'. He felt like bounding up to her and screaming "thank goodness you're here, someone normal" at her, the aura these other wolves gave off; no matter how fitting he felt it, made him slightly uncomfortable for the time being.

Raising his head and turning his body around, he adjusted himself more comfortably so to watch her fully, while his tail flicked around behind him. He could already notice in her body language and posture she was a more shy and reserved female, so he offered a small nod and smile to her as he continued to watch the interaction.

Feeling of being watched, Faith turned her head slightly. A semi large brute was watching her. With the feeling of nervousness and being scared she looked down. Her paws started to shake slightly, more and more with her thinking about how scared she was.

She lifted her head up, to face the brute. She gave him one small shy smile before staring at the ground again. A small sigh came out of her muzzle, as she kicked the soil.

Ayla's attention was dragged away from the solitary animal of flight as she listened in on the other's conversations and she couldn't stop a small smirk from twitching the corners of her mouth as she heard she was a descendant of a wolf with the element of fire. She couldn't even recall how many times others had said she was alike to fire, whether it be the fiery shade of her eyes or her personality: "She's so bright and warm to be around, but the minute you try to get close to her she will burn you to your core".

She continued to watch in amusement as a black fae with alabaster ears made herself known, nervously watching the others and smiling shyly at Wyatt. She had not long ago found out about her own immortality, but she could already see, just as the others could, that this wolf was normal. At this thought, Ayla looked around for the other fae Obsidian had been talking to not long before returning to his rock, but she could not see anything past the tall stalks of grass.

Still remaining at the edge of the shade-line, Ayla shifted uncomfortably, trying to convince herself that it was just the presence of so many wolves and the heat that was getting to her. Deeper down she knew it was something more; something was wrong. She had felt off for the past week and it was undeniable that something had changed, though she couldn't figure out what. Coming to the conclusion that she must just be sick, she quickly brushed the feeling off.

Needing to feel her legs move and put off by so many wolves being around, she got to her paws making no more sound than a shadow before swiftly disappearing into the cover of grass.~

Charity had snatched at Nakia as she went over to the Female. That pup really was getting too bold. She looked at the black female, her attention now focused on her daughter, ignoring the mother's question. Wyatt seemed to need some time to himself and walked off a little but soon came back, to investigate the new female it seemed. Watching the female's behaviour she couldn't help but wonder why a wolf, who seemed as shy and as scared as this would walk up to a group of wolves and just stand there. Getting up she walked over to the black female. "Why is it that your here exactly?" she asked softly.

Nakia kept watch on the black female with the strange white ears. The young pup became a little annoyed as she didn't answer her question. "You have to say your name!" she barked up at the female a frown on her face. Ayla's departure caught the pups attention. Casting another glance back at the black female she snuck after Ayla. Sifting through the tall grass she followed in the white female's footsteps. She crouched low to the ground as if she were hunting. Her large pup paws making little sound as they moved along the dirt. She only hoped she wouldn't be noticed.

Ayla's movements through the grass were swift and precise, well-practiced steps and twist of her core that made her invisible to anything more than twenty blades deep in the grass. Keeping her senses alert she paused in mid-step for a few moments, lowering herself to the ground until the tips of the fur on her underbelly brushed the ground. She remained frozen, eyes closed and ears perked as she 'listened' to the earth. Ahead and to her right she could feel something digging in the dirt - she suspected a hare - and her ears twitched to the ever so faint and cautious sounds of paw steps from behind her, something which most wolves would have been incapable of picking up on, but her training had heightened her senses for of course, if she hadn't practiced vigilance she would not have survived most of her wolf encounters. With a smirk, she guessed Nakia was the only animal around capable of making such little noise, and so she let her have her fun.

Slinking forward towards the hare, her eyes now open and blazing, she kept a tab on both of their movements. Sub-consciencely she noted that the sun was no longer at its peak in the sky and the afternoon sun was much more pleasant than the previous blazing heat, though not by much. Now less than a few meters from the small mammal, Ayla stopped again, crouching low and bunching her muscles as she prepared herself for the hopefully successful hunt. She had decided on a more aerial attack, using the long grass to her advantage and after pin-pointing its location, she jumped.

Forming a graceful arc in the air, Ayla soared over the tips of the grass before landing on top of the startled creature. Paws landing on either side of the animal and jaws gently grasping its middle, she pinned it to the ground, a gleeful smile stretching her mouth. She didn't kill it though, keeping it restrained within the confines of her jaws as she carefully placed her back to Nakia, hoping the pup would enjoy her surprise.~

The young pup Nakia slunk forward after the white female. Her light brown fur blended in well with the grass and her paw-steps almost as silent as the wind. As the older female stopped, Nakia paused too. She dared not get closer then necessary. Her light blue eyes kept close watch on the white ears of that whom she was following and mimicked their movement, listening. She wasn't ready for the leap and could only watch as Ayla made a graceful arc, with her mouth open. Getting over her surprise she raced forward to catch up. Pushing her head through the blades of grass she saw Ayla standing with her back to her. Nakia, looking through the light females legs, thought that she might be holding something but couldn't be sure. Crouching low, she crawled closer, trying to get a better look.

Faith looked at the female, not the pup but the rather the mom. "Sorry....Faith...im Faith. I have came into this territory, to join, if I may?" she said still looking at the ground. "I know, im not special or anything, but..."her voice trailing off. faith has more of a frown upon her face, thinking about well just about anything. Faith let her head rise up, facing the female before giving a bow in respect. Her ocean colored eyes spotted the pup, she just saw,hiding in the blades of grass. Her white ears pointed towards the female"May, I ask for your name?" she said with a tilt of her head.

Flint watched the grass move through the parting of Ayla and a smaller trail of Nakia. Wyatt had gone for a short wander and soon returned, the first mortal to join them was laying in the shade and the strangly black wolf with white ears conversing with Charity. Streching his front legs out, muscles remaining tense, Flint lept off the rock and strutted over to Charity and the wolf who declared herself as Faith. "There isn't much to join at the moment, mortal one, we ourselves have just met and for now just getting used to one another, but you are welcome to join us for now, and when this start to get into the swing we shall accept you into our Pack." the extravagant male swisher his tail round and his lemon eyes watched Faith, Flint was briefly studying her.

With that the chacoed male sat and wrapped his tail to his side for comfort, sitting composed his ears twitched and he looked around still seeing the trails through the long grass he smiled. Thinking upon when he should lead his fellow new friends and possible pack mates to the den and the center of the Territory that they would call home.

The word...Mortal stayed inside of her head. Going into a haze, her head quickly shot up"Thank you" she said. It was time she should 'study' this area, even though she wasn't fully accepted. Her paws dug into the cold earth beneath her, as she turned away from the male. With a dip of her head she trotted off, ready to explore. Her earthy toned, pelt shined in the sunlight making dust and particles to fall. Her tail swayed knocking off leaves that had fallen upon her pelt. she didn't feel like she was truly wanted here, a new comer new everything. She hoped it was okay, that she left so sudden, but she couldn't have wolves staring at her.

Flint gave a nod of approval to the wolf that called herself Faith, and watched as she turned to trudge away, he picked up the confused expression at the word 'mortal'. "My name is Flint, by the way, and your a mortal, I'm an Immortal, same as Charity there, Wyatt and Ayla. Though you may not believe it, it is the truth and a time may come where one of us can offer you too that immortalism" he spoke calmly and looked to his paws. His ears twitching for the slightest response in the female. Whilst thinking on this, Flint's tuoughts drifted; He started to wonder where Nakia was, he was up for a bit of play with the pup.

Faith looked at the male"As of right now, im different from you from everyone" she said in a tone of sadness. As she thought about everything her tail started to wag. She noticed the male was in a playful mood, she did want to play too, but it would most likely be picked up as a threat. "I thank you again...Flint" she said with a small smile. Her ears twitched from the breeze, as she kicked the earth with her front paw.

Flint watched Faith as she responded and seemed down, "It's okay to be different you know..." Flint paused, noticing that Faith seemed a little worried and upset "What's wrong? looking to her he tilted his heavy head and stood slowly wagging his tail back to her.

The excentric male took a step towards Faith, he lowered his head slightly removing the thought of a threat, however maintaining his dominant composure. His long tail flowed and swayed behind him curiously as he moved towards the Fae without the slightest sound. His ears perked in keen interest in why the female was nervous.

Ayla grinned as she twitched her ears to the pups quiet breathing just behind her, the corners of her lips pulling up around the hare. Against her instincts she kept her jaws gentle on the animal, ignoring the urge to crush it completely, and lifted it off the ground. It let out a startled squeal, legs trashing around wildly in a desperate but utterly hopeless bid to escape. Ayla spun around quickly, ears perked forward as she faced Nakia, crouching down to be at the pup's eye-level.

Releasing her hold on the hare it stumbled forward towards the pup, chestnut coloured face panicked and confused as it stopped not far from Nakia's nose. Before it could regain its bearings, Ayla placed a paw on it's tail, holding it in place as she raised her fiery gaze to meet the pup's.

"Wanna practice some hunting?"she asked with a smirk~

Charity backed away as Flint spoke to the female who said her name was Faith. Sitting back down in the shade she listened to them talk. The female, Faith, seemed to still be rather nervous and then she walked away a bit. The dark tips of Charity's ears sat tall on her head as she watched the two. The fae's sad look touched the light cream female's heart. Getting up she walked over to Faith. Touching the black female's shoulder with her nose, Charity smiled, "Hey, I'm sure that despite the differences we can all get along. You'll be welcome here. Besides you're not the only one." Looking around Charity tried to spot the other female that had been around. Spotting her, she nodded in her direction.

Nakia's brown ears perked with interest as she heard a squeal. Ayla's sudden movement caused her to back up a little. She looked strangely upon the creature in front of her. It's nose twitching and its large eyes looked scared. It wasn't that much smaller than her, nor was it very different in fur colour. Nakia knew it to be a hare but she had never seen one alive before. Her mother always brought them back dead. She gazed at it curiously, for the moment ignoring, Ayla. Taking a step closer she looked over the hare. It looked so frightened. Nakia's ears flew back. She wasn't sure if she could do this. Hunting bugs and leaves was very different to hunting anything with fur. "With it alive?" she asked, a little nervous.

"I guess its hard to be different, like im standing out. eyes pinned on me as if I were a monster" she said staring the last words monster. she couldnt bare to look at anyone in the eyes. Faith let out a small laugh, as she saw the brute named Flint. Her small light head turned towards the fae "Is it okay if I ask your name?" she asked in a tone of curiosity. Faith knew she was new, she was the outcast............as usual.

The pure white pup growled and muttered to himself annoyed by the land, this land was not suitable for him since he stuck out like a sore paw. His ears dropped as he constantly had to stop and rest for a little, each time he looked back at his hind leg which was smeared with fairly dry blood that gashed out from his leg. He growled a pathertic pup growl as he thought of the coyote that caught him by surprise and snorted pretending he was facing it at the moment.
"You want a piece of me, huh?" He growled lowly before pouncing on thin air and pretending to be in a scuffle with his imaginary coyote. Feeling the pain again he stopped and sat down trying to catch his breath as he lolled out his pink tongue and looked around.

Flint shifted about his paws putting them in precise points he picked. His velvety ears twitched and flicked in attention to some scuffling that was occurring not too far from the shade of which he sat. Swiftly getting to his paws, his key signature drunken swagger as he waddled to where the sound had come from. As he approached he spotted a small whitish figure that had smelt to be a pup. Peering over the pup, he shaded it and only his dark silhouette visible.

Its pink tongue had rolled out of its mouth as it panted looking about. "What is your name young one, and where are your parents?" Flint questioned the young pup and sat smiling friendly, showing he meant the young pup no harm. Thinking over his words he truly wondered where its parents where. As his eyes rolled over the pup, he spotted dark blood stains and a gash where it had seemed to be wounded. Flint shifted his weight backwards as he lent back allowing the pup its space, creating a more friendly environment. He didn't want to scare off the pup.

Charity looked upon the female with compassion. “Monster? What monster?” she said glancing around as if looking for the creature. Turning back to the female she smiled. “The name others call me is Charity,” she said softly. Sitting down she glanced around, seeing that Nakia and Ayla were gone. The must be going to hunting lessons, she concluded. Though she wasn't totally comfortable with the female, she did believe that she wouldn't hurt Nakia. Facing the black coated Faith she asked, “So what brought you here? Something inside of me brought me here. I'm not sure what. Flint seems to think it was fate.” Lowering she whispered with a smile, “I'm still not sure what to think of the old coot myself.”

Ayla tilted her head to the side, slightly confused at the pup's nervousness. Didn't she say she wanted to hunt? How on earth are you supposed to hunt something that is already dead? she wondered. Hear ears fell back a little as she realised that perhaps the pup didn't want to kill it, remembering her first time killing an animal was full of a lot of hesitation and nervousness, then again, that was before she learned that she had to know how to kill for both hunting and self-defence.

Ayla eased up her harsh grip on the hare's tail, though not enough to let it escape just yet, before saying in the most soothing and comforting voice she could manage, "Only if you want to. You can practice with it now or I can let it go." Her eyes found Nakia's and she met them with an honest and friendly gaze.

She didn't know what had come over her, she should be scolding the pup for not being strong enough and making her kill the hare, but there was something different, a more maternal feeling coming over her, and she couldn't bring herself to force Nakia to do anything. She smiled a little as she awaited the pup's answer~

Nakia's eyes looked from the hare to Ayla. The pup could see that she was confused. The female spoke in what was soothing to the pups ears after her nervousness. Her brows slightly wrinkled in indecision. The older female's friendly gaze, told her that no matter what she chose it would be ok. It seemed a little out of character for the light she-wolf, making Nakia tilt her head. Flicking her ears and taking a deep breath Nakia decided. "Please may we just let it go," she said. She felt like a wimp for not wanting to kill it and though she didn't like the feeling she couldn't, not right now. "Please..."

Faith smiled showing a few fangs, "Hello charity, your name makes me think of helping people. It seems like the first thing that came to me when I saw you, was well respect and a loving nature. I can tell that comes from you being a mother" she said with a large smile Her's ears twitched slightly, releasing small clumps of dried dirt. Her paws felt nice in the grass, as the cool breeze kicked up. Leaves rustled, trees swayed, a perfect day.

Alerted by the sudden voice from behind, Scythe fumbled forward, clumsily falling over his own legs and ending up sprawled across the dry ground, dirt shoved into his mouth from when he fell. He blinked his eyes before screwing up his nose in disgust and spitting out the dirt and trying to get rid of the taste of earth.
Scythe spun around quickly before gazing up at a towering pure black wolf that stood before him. His ears drooped as his eyes widened slightly but was overcome by the low growl from him and bared his small fangs defensively.
His mixed coloured eyes stared intently as he stood quiet before answering him, clearly on edge. "Scythe... Wh are you?" He asked avoiding the question about the whereabouts of his parents.
