Dragon RolePlay

Eros continued to follow the forest dragon onwards. He slunk along the ground cunningly, he had partially listened to the Dragons words, but most of the negative stuff seemed aimed at him. ""that includes not taking down their helicopters and killing the people inside", Eros gave a hiss at the guarding, he had been defending his life against the helicopter. It had been either him or that awful machine.

Though he continued to follow them before the soon stopped. His head lifted and they seemed to want to rest. It was night! The young night fury wanted to continue on his path to get away from these other dragons of which whom only seemed to scold him.

Hearing the group above her talk about stopping, Silla burrowed a little ways away from them all (to avoid climbing under someone's foot) and emerged from her tunnel. She shook the dirt and dust away while looking a little frightened at the large guardian dragon before her: Salix.

She was glad they decided to rest instead of flying to cover more ground. Silla couldn't fly and would probably be left behind, she could only tunnel so fast.

She walked in front of the other dragons and introduced herself quickly as she started to look for another place to rest "My name is Silla. I hope you don't mind me joining your group."

Wobbling around them, she felt the dirt under her, the softest dirt would be easiest to sift through. Finding a spot she liked, she dug a small hole. She widdened this hole out and sat in her makeshift nest. She wasn't feeling very tired right now, but she would sleep with the rest of the dragons if that's what the group decided to do.

Silla looked up and spoke again a little unsurely "How far do we need to travel to be safe from the humans?"

Eros by this stage had given up. It seemed that he would never be able to get away from these other dragons, they just kept turning up. He sighed in defeat and resigned to this destiny. Padding around in a circle he laid down, away from the others, but still close enough to remain insight, though separated. He watched the others with his green eyes and looked to the sky to see the first streaks of sun and light peeking through the trees. A wide yawn soon came over the young night fury's face as he lowered his head to the ground and allowed his tail to drape over it. It wasn't long before again he was at the hands of sleep.

Silla woke to Violet's voice. It had a certain urgency to it that she didn't understandin her sleepy daze. Shaking her head, she tried to focus on what she was saying.

"Guys there is another one of those human carriers up there. Don't you think we should get moving?"

Silla scrambled up, her many legs tangling each other as she tried to stand. Her head raised to the sky, she tried to see any signs of the human carrier. She looked toward the still sleeping members of their group and said quickly"We have to wake up the others and keep moving."

Silla waddled over to the other dragons and paused"The human carriers can't move that fast, can they?" Despite that, Silla moved towards the night fury and nudged it to wake it up. She then moved towards the large forest guardian.

Appearance:
A silvery white dragon with eyes that glow like the sun. She is small for her species, but is still considered a large dragon.
Abilities:
Breathing fire, changing formes into a dragon she is familliar with. It takes about a year of study for her to be able to use her magic to change into another forme.
Personality
Xiald is a lively bundle of fun. She also has a short temper and strong sense of right vs wrong. (lame personality is lame)

The silver white dragon soared through the air, her golden orbs searching the ground for large mammals to eat. The area she flew over - a desert - seemed barren of what she looked for, so she flew on. Before long, the desert morphed into a plain which became more and more lush with each of her wing's flaps. There seemed to be forms on the earth. Focusing, she distinguished different kinds of dragons in all shapes and sizes. Shifting her weight, she flew higher, scales reflecting the sun's light and sending a glare to those who would try to see her. A smirk took to her features - when it came to being mysterious about who she was, Xiald was the best.

Xiald glided on until the purple dragon came up to issue a warning about humans. She had noticed them as well, but had learnt that if she flew higher up, the glare off of her wings blinded the men to allow her escape. She grunted, not having meant to temporarily blind the other dragons. It wasn't her fault that her scales reflected light.

Salix growled a little as he was woken up. Opening his eyes slowly he came across Silla and Skye, both with a sense of urgency on their faces. His eyes shot towards the other two dragons there, Eros seemingly recoiling from something and and Violet consoling him.

In a state of confusion he lifted his head and looked up. A bright glare burned through his eyes, causing him to narrow them and try to keep them open. No luck as he turned away for a few moments. Soon after his ears finally picked up on the sound that was getting everyone worked up. Another helicopter.

Immediately his mind began to map out the denser parts of the forest and the nearest cave would be. Lifting himself to his feet he picked up Skye, knowing that she wouldn't be able to keep up in a run, he lowered his head to others, "we need to head west. Stick to the thicker trees and hide in them if you need to. No doubt that they have a rough idea of where we are, or spotted our movements already. I hope none of you flew up." Taking a glance to the sky he noted the sound of the helicopter only got louder, "I can't lead you there, because I will only give you all away. So Eros, Violet and Silla, you need to go alone. If you carry on west you'll come to a cliff edge. You're going to need to climb about half way down it and you'll come to a cave. Once you're in, head straight to the back and hide yourself in there. We will meet you there, ok? If you hear the copter getting louder as you head there, hide somewhere. Just until it passes over enough for you to keep moving there and what ever you do, do not go in a group, spread out. It makes you a harder target if they find you all. Run."

Soaring soundlessly, Xiald's keen ears picked up the sound of the human aircraft as it drew nearer and grew louder. Looking down at the ground, she could see the shapes of the dragons moving out, away from the threat. A hiss crept from her as she lifted higher into the atmosphere, noting the cooling chill that only deepened. If it were not for the fire that burned within her, she would have frozen at this altitude. Yet, even she was pushing it. The human aircraft was at a lower altitude, but her scales' glare could give her away.

Frowning, Xiald lowered herself to be level with the aircraft. She would distract the humans while the other dragons escaped. The purple one had been right to go for cover, but by now, it had been too late - or so she though. The glare from her scales could be taken as a glare from their machine, right? Ascending, she flew to a cave hidden in the side of a cliff and alit, wings folding over her body. She hid as far back as she could from the sun. Her gleam would give her away. Even when she considered her traits a gift, she knew they were equally a curse.

Salix nodded to Skye's attention seeking, he too heard the sound of the helicopter growing in volume. He quickly placed her on his back and started on his way, heading a little out from the rest. Stopping at a dense thickening in the trees he raised his head and looked back to Skye, "hold on tight, but try not to tear anything," without waiting for an answer he started at a quick pace, speeding up to a fast run through the trees.

Salix strayed further to the south-west, rather than straight west, just in case he caught up with the others. He stopped every once in a while to check where he was and the location of the machine, before carrying on and slowly making his way back on track. As he reached the cliff's edge he hung out over it looking down. His eyes just caught the glimmer of something fly into the adjacent cliff side, shrugging it off, for now anyway.

Spreading his front and back legs out, Salix slowly spread open his wings, shaking a slight stiffness from their infrequent use, "hold on." Stretching them out in full, he leaned further over the cliff before letting himself fall into a glide. He banked around on himself, spotting the said cave just to the right of him. Making a beeline for it, he quickly folded his wings in just before reaching the mouth and gripped onto the ground of the cave with his front arms and standing on the cliff face with his back legs. He took a scan around and a quick glance back to Skye, to make sure she was still there, before walking in and smelling around. Slowly making his was to the back, he checked for any danger, or any of the others, if they had arrived yet.
