Flint's head turned to the young Nakia, his ears relaxed back knowing he shouldn't take his anger out on the young one. He smiled simply and replied, avoiding her first question "Your mother will be back soon enough, young Nakia. I think you have a wonderful seat there Nakia" he said emotionlessly, giving a slight chuckle at the curious little pup. The moonlight shone down on his obsidian coat glistened in the dark as the moon reflected in his pale eyes.

His tail flicked back and forth slightly, remembering the nights events. His ears twitched in the breeze as it touched his bloodied brow. He put his head down and let out a deep sigh.

Wyatt frowned to himself, 'where? Where do they find the energy?' He kept himself still as she climbed on top of him, fighting the extreme urge to move or shake about to send her off balance.

He watched Flint walk in, taking note of his 'mood'. Years had taught him to stay out of other people's business and fights. He offered a small smile to the male before returning his attention to Nakia. He braced his legs under himself and smirked slowly starting to shake his body,
"so what happens if I do this then?"

Nakia wagged her tail gleefully at the male as he said he liked her seat. She was about to ask him why there was blood on the top of his brow when Wyatt spoke and her 'seat' began to shake. "Ahhh!" she yelled. Frantically her paws flew about trying to grab hold of something but when your on top of a wolf there's not much to grab onto. Not able to keep her balance she slid from his neck onto the stone floor. She landed with a tumble but quickly righted herself. Sitting on the floor she glared angrily up at the male. "What'd ya do that for?"

Ayla's golden eyes followed Charity's path over to her as rhey shone like beacons, her ears perking to her words as she lay down beside her. She lifted her head slightly, about to object before she stopped herself, nodding slowly as a small smile made it's way onto her lips. "Thanks," she whispered quietly, despite the fact that she was quite used to the cold from living in permenant snow when she was younger.

Resting her head on her paws she remained silent for a while, trying to comprehend everything that had happened to lead her to this point. One moment of weakness had led her to this and so she promised herself it wouldn't happen again, she wouldn't allow herself to get close to any of these wolves - it had only ever let her get hurt.

At the same time though, she felt as though she could use a friend, someone she could trust, at least with trivial matters. She once again raised her head to look at Charity, no matter what she knew that this she-wolf would at least help her pups and at the moment that was all she could ask for. In an effort to lighten the mood after all the previous yelling and tense situations, she gave a small laugh,
"Ha, I'm going to have to start thinking of names."

Basile huffed, unable to sleep. She unfurled herself, lying her head on her paws as she watched the pup and the larger brute play together. Flint was off in his own world, obviously upset and it peaked curiousity.

She stood up uneasily, looking from the pup and wolf playing to Flint. Flint would probably not give her anything to go by and the other two wolves probably didn't know anything about the incident anyway. She sighed, pacing.

She could feel the tension and it bothered her enough to keep her awake. Defeated, she padded over to the cave entrance, hoping to at least gain peace in seeing the two fae wolves return.

She let herself watch the pup and wolf play. Tail wagging, she let herself calm and rest as she waited.

Charity's eyes never left Ayla. She wasn't going to let the female run off into the night again. Seeing the small smile calmed her fears though. The female seemed to be undergoing an internal struggle. Waiting until she was ready she didn't expect the laugh and an attempt at humour. Giggling herself she replied, "Maybe wait until you see what they are first."

Her ears flicked, upon hearing something in the undergrowth. Her hackles raised as she got up. Her lips curled up in a snarl, not sure what to expect. "Come out!" she growled.

((By the way the thing she hears is Scythe.))

His ears perked up to a sudden growl that caused him to nearly fall over from surprise, not expecting anyone to be nearby. Narrowing his hazed eyes he looked around before snorting lightly. He wasn't able to catch the scent of the others close by because his nose was clogged up from the scent of mud from when he fell earlier and smelled nothing but earth.

He focused on the direction the growling came from and got up a bit before turning and kicking back a stick with his hind leg, sending it flying over the bush and over towards the one who was growling. Unaware that it was Charity and that it fell, hitting her on the head.

Scythe shook his ruffled pelt before muttering and continued to search for the others, unaware they were so close by.

Ayla's ears flicked towards the source of the sound Charity mentioned and immediately her hackles rose, eyes narrowing at the rustling of bushes. She got silently to her paws at the two awaited a reaction to Charity's command, all five senses focused on the single point ahead that likely concealed the unknown creature. Her muscles immediately tightened when the stick flew through the air and without thinking her lips drew back into an aggressive snarl, her mind kicking into gear when the piece of tree hit Charity's head.

With one brief glance in the mother's direction to be sure she was not harshly wounded, Ayla swiftly closed the few meter gap between the unidentified animal and once in range leapt at it, a growl echoing from her jaws. With paws landing either side of the startled pup she was only just able to reign in her bared canines before they made contact with his soft flesh, a surprised yelp sounding from her throat as she pulled up her attack.

Not having yet met Scythe, Ayla raised a brow in curiousity as she stepped away from the pup.

Scyrhe fell back with a soft thud from being pinned down by the unknown female. Instinctively he reacted like how he was once taught by his uncle to show no fear or cower. In counter he released his own pitiful excuse for a threatening snarl, flailing his hind legs to kick back the wolf but missed as she backed away.

Scythe took the chance to roll onto his feet and stumble back a little before nearly falling over. His hind leg still quivered weakly but he payed no attention to it. He puffed out his chest and bristled his fluff fur trying to make himself look more intimidating with little success.

He hasn't seen her before and immediately assumed she was a threat. Crouching down, he rocked on his heels, preparing to lunge at her leg if he needed to.

Charity was surprised at the sudden assault. Swerving she managed to avoid the projectile from hitting her head, instead causing it to fall harmlessly against her shoulder. ((Remember to attempt attack at others.)) Ayla was quick to lunge at the creature. A surprised yelp sounded and Charity quickly leapt over the bush too.

The small white pup standing up to Ayla was very amusing to the she-wolf. Not able to help herself she burst out laughing. "Scythe, I was wondering where you were," she said between the laughs. "Don't worry this is only Ayla. She won't hurt you. You surprised us that's all."

Wyatt shrugged lightly and sat down with a blank look on his face, "I am sure I have no idea what you are on about; I have not done anything." He leant down to her level, hiding a small smirk, "you know, young lady. It isn't very nice to accuse others of things they have not done."

He took a short sigh feeling slightly awkward upon sensing he was being watched. His head turned and he came upon the newer female. He'd not actually met her yet and was quite curious about her. He sat for a few moments studying her before standing up and looking back to Nakita, "c'mon missy."

Wyatt took a few steps forward and sat down in front of the brown female with a small smile on his face, "a little late, but welcome to the pack. I'm Wyatt," he turned to Nakia for a moment before looking back, "and that is Nakia. Can I ask your name?"

Basile sat watching the two wolves play with each other when the larger wolf came towards her. "I'm Wyatt and that is Nakia. Can I ask you your name?"

The introduction reminded her that she didn't really know the other wolves past their appearances. Not wanting to be rude Basile sat up.She was still a bit drowsy but replied. "I am Basile," Basile gave Wyatt a smile as she looked at Nakia beside him and asked "Is she your pup?"

She could remember seeing the mother before but seeing the two play made her think they were very close.

\[ooo ok]

Scythe kept his stance before taking a quick glance noticing Charity. He didn't dare drop his guard just all of the sudden to the female who nearly killed him. He backed up a little then looked over at Charity noticing her laughing.

Confused at why she was laughing he kept backing up no longer sure if they are trustworthy or not.
"Well she didn't have her jaws around your neck just seconds from taking your life." He barked after a weak growl still not feeling certain of being around unknown wolves.

A small smirk twitched the corners of Ayla's mouth as she watched the pup's attempt at looking intimidating, though she quickly shed the small sign of humour, knowing what it was like being a pup and trying to stand up to adults many times your size. She looked the pup over, noticing his hurt leg and slight gleam of fright in his eyes. Well, she thought, I guess if I have any chance at practicing being a mother now's the time.

"Scythe, is it? Well, it seems we should take you back to the pack to get your leg sorted, we wouldn't want you to get a nasty infection now would we?" Ayla smiled, doing her best not to look scary, which seemed to be difficult, "So, can you walk yourself or do you want me to carry you?"

Nakia glared at Wyatt as he said the had done nothing. A small growl threatened to escape her throat, her nose wrinkled in annoyance. She followed his gaze as he turned to look at another female there. Getting up she followed him by his side to the female. "Hi!" Nakia barked to her.

A sneaky idea floated into the pups head as Baslie asked if she belonged to Wyatt. Hiding a smirk she barked brightly, "Yep, say hello to my Pa." Her tail wagged quickly and she watched the male's face intently.

Charity got her laughter under control and grinned at Scythe. "Well it was you who threw a stick at us," she replied. Padding closer to the pup, she nuzzled him reassuringly. She glanced at Ayla, proud that she was trying.

"Well I'm certainly not letting you walk on that leg. I don't care what you say. I don't have anything to treat it now but we'll go back to the den, make sure it's clean and I'll find something tomorrow." Opening her jaws she gently closed them around the white pups neck. Lifting him off the ground she turned to go back to the den. Flicking her tail at Ayla to follow.

Entering the cave again she went over by a wall and placed Scythe down. She had missed Nakia's comment and only saw her sitting with Wyatt and the other female. Charity smiled, glad her pup was getting to know the other wolves.

Ayla nodded with a smile, quickly trotting after the two. Though it was hardly visible through her lean body and thick fur, now that she knew what it was she was highly aware of her swelling stomach and the occasional kicks of pups. Still struggling to come to terms with the idea she found herself slightly regretful of how annoyed she had been at Flint, for surely if she could hardly believe it she couldn't just expect him to be immediately ok with it.

She paused when she reached the steps to the den, her coat once again giving off silver shimmers in the moonlight as she looked up to see Flint at the top with blood staining his onyx coat. She walked up slowly, stopping directly in front of him and reflecting his sitting position, the black and white wolf so similarly placed creating a stark contrast in the moonlight. Her fire-like eyes burned intently as she scrutinised his face, at this point lost for words.

After a few long moments, a soft sigh escaped her mouth as she averted her gaze, and through the breath she muttered softly,
"Sorry, I'm not used to being around wolves, but that's little excuse for what I said." She paused again, an apology being a rare thing to come from her mouth and it felt strange to her. But she continued, looking around at the wolves around them, "And you, of all wolves, deserve to be a leader, I mean look at all you've achieved in just a few days."

A small smile curved up her lips as she returned her now much calmer eyes to his, hoping that her apology had been enough. "Though, if you want to look like leader, I'd suggest cleaning off some of that blood, you look like Frankenwolf." she laughed, she smile broadening into a grin. --

Flint had sat up and lightened his mood slightly to see the young Nakia having a lot of fun teasing and mucking around with Wyatt, before saying that he was her dad. Flint smirked and watched as she had made up the story right then and there. He turned his head to face the outside but was surprised by the white silhouette of Ayla standing in front of him. His ears shot back as she reflected his sitting position. "Sorry, I'm not used to being around wolves, but that's little excuse for what I said.... And you, of all wolves, deserve to be a leader, I mean look at all you've achieved in just a few days...." Flint smiled at Ayla's coming around, though it was him that had infuriated the fire in her, all because of a stupid selfish act. The onyx coloured male was about to speak and had parted his black pigmented lips, but the white she-wolf beat him to it "Though, if you want to look like leader, I'd suggest cleaning off some of that blood, you look like Frankenwolf". He smiled somewhat to Ayla and then cleared his throat to speak.

"Ayla, I am sorry as I said before, I shouldn't have acted like a selfish, indulgent pup. I thank-you for your apology, as you seem the type not to offer them too often. I should have acted my age and not one of a young pups. I myself after so many years of being solitary, not used to the company of others, I am not the only one who deserves to be a leader.. You too deserve such a fate. For you have the blood of Garth deep within you, I can see the fire burning inside of you, the pride in which you shine" He smiled and placed his paw to his chest as he spoke. He smiled and gestured for her to come into the dark cavern, he wondered when the pups would come, and wondered where the pack would put them for now.

Wyatt's ears flew up upon hearing what Nakia had said, his eyes grew wide slightly as they did so. His head spun around and down to the pup as he scowled at her, "you lying little imp!" He quickly spun back to the female and protested his innocence at her claim, "really, I'm not her father. She's just playing silly beggars."

He hadn't noticed Charity walk in until it was too late. He only hoped that she wasn't going to rip him apart.

"Well it was you who threw a stick at us,"

His head tilted and perked his floppy ears as he was about to protest in his defense for throwing the stick but couldn't before he noticed he was being carried off towards the direction the familiar scents of the others was coming from.

He squirmed around a bit before noticing the other pup he so "kindly" met earlier and his expression dulled thinking to himself, 'Just great, well as long as she sticks with them she won't be a problem to me...'. He noticed the other two wolves for a bit before being placed down in the cave.

Scythe looked up at Charity and shook his fur before trying to fix his messed up neck fur trying to keep it from sticking up. He saw the earlier wolf who ambushed him and saw the jet black male as well.

Tilting his head he didn't pay much attention to what they talked about until something that the male said caught his ear.

"...acted like a selfish, indulgent pup. " He nose screwed up as he barked over at them. "We're not all like that! Quit comparing your mistakes on how you act or anything like that to us!" He stopped and dropped his floppy ears and tail, allowing them to dangle lifelessly as he went back to where he was placed by Charity and curled up in an awkward ball, only sticking his wounded leg out so it wouldn't hurt him as he rested and muttered quietly to himself. "We're not like that... I'm not..

Flint turned and saw the young Scythe who was telling him off, Flint chuckled and replied to the pup "I know that your not all like that Scythe, I was using the word pup, as referring to being inmature. And I do know that you are most certainly not like that Scythe, you will understand some day young one" Flint smiled, lifting a paw he ruffled the pup's head.

The onyx male then looked back to Ayla, she seemed to keep siting there, He smirked and drew his paw to gently poke her chest. "Well are you coming in or not?" he tilted his head with ears perked watching the female with curiosity. Flint soon moved to the side and gestured for Ayla to come in the cavern.

He huffed quietly and began muttering to himself as he tried to fix his once again ruffled up fur. When he was done he shook his pelt as he continued muttering the word 'immature' and some nonsense.

His head was lifted from the ground when he saw something strange about the female who Flint was talking to. Raising an eye brow he narrowed his orbs to try to see what caught his attention.

His orbs grew wide a little but then he shook his head as he focused on her tummy then dropped his ears backing up thinking 'What the... did her stomach just move..?

He shook his head before laying back down and talking to himself,
"She needs to learn to chew her food so it's not alive when it's in her stomach." He raised a brow and shuddering at the thought of still being alive while in the stomach of the predator.

Ayla smirked a little at Flint's quite formal and noble apology, a small chuckle rising between her lips at his short conversation with Scythe. She raised a brow at his moving aside and questioning of her entering the cave. A small part of her wanted to decline, to just turn tail and run from the place to continue searching, but the days were growing hotter it was hard for her to continue for as long with her thick pelt that was clearly made for snowy terrain. She finally got to her paws with a small smile and a nod to Flint, keeping her body relaxed but there was still the faint hints of pride visible in the way she carried herself.

Once a few steps inside, she turned back to face him, a question bubbling up inside her that she had been keen on asking almost since she agreed to join this pack.
"Well then, if you do intend on keeping this pack together, don't you think there should be some kind of order to it? Like ranks or something? Encounters I've had with them have shown to have some sort of ranking system, though I myself haven't been in one since..." She trailed off, getting caught up in her own memories from her puphood. Shaking her head to clear it, her eyes refocused on Flint and immediately her thoughtful look was replaced with her trademark smirk for even though she knew he probably noticed her moment of silence, she could always distract it with something else, like perhaps a new nick-name. "So, any plans for that, Flinny?"

Flint tilted his head at Ayla as she called him 'Flinny', chills were sent up his spine. A frown over came his face as he thought over her words, he had plenty of time to come up with this ranking system. "Why yes, I do have a ranking system in mind. It goes something like this; Cora, Thats us, the four immortals, the leaders. Minya, that is our second in command, we'll need two of those. Nelde, the third in command, four of those. Ohtar are the warriors, Vasa are our hunters. Edhel are our scouts, Fallaner are the healers. Nessa, the pups and Di'Thang our omegas. Does that sound okay to you? The words are the ancient language of us immortals." He drew a small smiled across his face.

He swished his tail and looked to Ayla, "C'mon you need to rest"[/i] he got to his paws and nudged her slightly to venture further into the den. He continued to guard the entrance, his tail flicking behind him in a friendly fashion.

Nakia just continued to grin a sly grin at Wyatt as he scowled at her. On the inside she was laughing. He had reacted almost perfectly. It was then that she noticed that her mother had come in. Her ears dropped slightly. I hope she hadn't noticed, she might not be too happy.

She watched Scythe for a moment as he told Obsidian and Ayla off. Her tail wagged quickly, Yeah you tell 'em! She looked back to Ayla hearing his comment about chewing her food. Not quite as uneducated as her pup companion she knew what it was. "You oaf," she barked in a disbelieving manner. "That's not her food in there, it's some pups!" ((No offence Scythe))

Charity watched the little scene unfold between Scythe and the other Immortals. He sure was a spunky fella, much like her Nakia. Her attention was switched from them to Wyatt as, as she took it, growled at her pups. Her eyes narrowed at the male. Getting up she stomped over to the male. "I don't care what my daughter has done, you have no right to speak to her that way!" she growled at him.

Suddenly she processed the other half of what he had said. "She said what?!" Glancing down at Nakia, who was barking at Scythe. "Nakia!" there was a firm growl in her voice. The little pups ear went down, recognising that voice. "Haven't I told you to never lie? What made you say that he was you father? We've only met him recently." She turned back to Wyatt. "I'm very sorry about all this," she apologised. "It won't happen again." Picking up Nakia in her jaws she took the pup into a corner of the cave and curled around her. No more playing for her tonight.

Basile smiled as Nakia said that Wyatt was her father, she was about to ask another question when Wyatt suddenly denied what Nakia had said. Her ears flicked back lightly in confusion as she watched the two argue. Perhaps they weren't as close as she thought...

Basile sat back, her mouth slightly open as she intended to speak again when the mother returned to yell at Wyatt. She snapped her muzzle shut, surprised by the mother's protectiveness. Then, just as sudden, the mother apologized to Wyatt and snapped at her pup. Basile whimpered lightly, confused and slightly afraid of her.

As Nakia was carried away, she looked to Wyatt for answers, wondering if she had been tricked. She knew it was just a prank for Nakia and Wyatt was much as a victim as she was but she was more confused about the pack's relation.

The mother said Nakia and she had barely known Wyatt, so what did this mean for the rest of the pack? Did no one know each other?

She gave a yawn, a whine escaping her jaws. She was tired and confused but her curiosity about the pack she was recently invited in. She lie down, making herself comfortable as she noticed that the pack was whole again. She closed her eyes again, trying to sleep.
