The South-East Border of the Pack Lands is guarded one side by cliffs and the other by steep mountains, it is hard for wolves to travel through this way but provides a more sneaky way into the Pack Lands.

The shadow-like female crept through the brush as the sun set behind her. Blood pounded in her ears as the paranoia set in. I shouldn't be here she thought, gulping. Ahead of her, she could make out the formes of moving shadows. Her vantage point - the crest of a hill - gave her a sort of advantage, and yet, how long would it take to get to them? Would the wolf pack be accepting of a lone traveler? Especially considering the fact that she was on the verge of insanity. When she had scented the pack border that morning, she had skirted around the outer ring of markings, looking for the perfect point of entry. When it had been found, her courage had just about faded. After all, the last pack she had come across wanted nothing to do with her scouting abilities and had chased her off. That had been nearly a moon cycle ago. Gazing at the sky, the inky black female felt her stomach knot. It was getting darker and darker; the fear began to set in as she tuned her ears to the sound of the chirping cicadas and the croak of the frogs. So long there was no eerie silence, she would make it though, as she had nights before. Each one was harder than the last; the idea of something happening like it had before became greater with each night. The odds that none of the foul beasts that had tormented her had shown were remarkable, and she wasn't about to gamble with them. "Okay, Karma," she murmured to herself, eyes trained on the wolves. "It's time to make yourself known..."

Despite her attempts to encourage herself, the female remained pacing along the land. Getting here hadn't been the easiest thing to do. There had been cliffs and a mountain. With the troublesome landscape, she figured that the pack wouldn't be expectant of an approach from this direction. Step by step, she ventured closer. Her mind tried to tempt her to run away with theories of the pack being cannibals, or that they would run her out, or have a hatred of black wolves like one pack she had come across. Gritting her teeth, she persevered. It was now or never, and never didn't seem very promising.
